Dirt Road Apostle
Lord, Carry Me the Rest of the Way
Debut single · OUT NOW
Gospel soul · Dirt Road Records
Some nights the words don't come. This one is a prayer for everybody who has been strong for everyone else and is running out of road. He isn't asking for the load to be lifted. He's asking not to walk it alone.
A worn soul voice singing a plain prayer, built on the old gospel bones. If you keep Gravel & Grace or Solomon Ray in your rotation, pull up a chair.
Out now on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and more.
Dirt Road Apostle is gospel Christian soul: a worn voice and songs that talk to God in plain words. The kind a man says out loud at the kitchen table when the house is quiet and nobody else is up.
The name comes from the old word for a sent man. An apostle got handed the word and a road, and not much else. These songs walk that same road: plain prayers you can borrow when your own words run out.
